SIMPLY COMPLICATED PART - I

 CHAPTER - 2

AN UNINVITED TWIST

APRIL 7, 2019 - Although we were complete strangers to each other, still both of us got really comfortable quite early. We talked about our interests, hobbies, shared a few old stories and events of our lives. He always says that he couldn't believe me at first, as he says i am a very empathetic human being and he had never saw girls being kind and generous. He told me that he is scared of girls and tries to stay away from them. As he believed that girls can do anything! He said that girls in their city can make any laughing person cry on their one accusation. People never listen to any of the boy's words, they just beat the hell out of him. Even when he hadn't done anything. So when he talked to me and i asked him about one of my personal issues i was dealing with at that time. First, he was shocked, he said," I thought girls have superpowers, they know about people's intensions from the beginning. How come you didn't figure out ?" Second, he agreed to do me a favour and said," Don't worry, the next time when he calls, just call me and set up a conference call. I will handle the rest. And if you are not comfortable. Then just text him to stop bothering you, and if he doesn't. Pass his number to me." I felt nice as I was getting very harrased due to this issue, I don't know why I shared it with him. But I just did! Then we took to some lighter topics and shared some common interests. 

Then suddenly between the laugh, he said," Yaar, you are exactly the type of girl I ever wished for. But this is my bad luck that you are not my local and we can't share this what we have." I replied," What do you mean by " Your type of girl" ?" " Ummm, that you would get to know tomorrow evening, you also want to listen to me playing no, so I would just make a video for you and explain you there ." See, don't judge but i was already way impressed, okay! Moreover, his past stories, his sarcasm, his aura, his personality, nature and ya! Don't forget the guitar, everything was so fascinating about him. So I replied," Sounds great, but tell me one thing, is it important to live at the same locality or city to experience our special bond with someone." " Means ?" "Have you heard about a term called long distance relationships, I have never tried it, and I don't mind trying it, so if you say yes, then i am in as well." He took a half minute pause and replied," I am also in !" You won't believe we hadn't even saw each other properly when this actually happened. But both of us didn't care as we bonded pretty well. And this is how without even realising I proposed him in a weirdly unique way, now everytime some one makes a google account and at the end of formalities when google displays a button "I am in" I start laughing. It won't be a lie if i say that we never thought or planned that we would end up being this serious about each other. Both of us were convinced that it's not going to stay more than a week. Anyways after that proposal, it was time for setting up some rules. So he asked me that see i know that we are just doing this as a matter of fun but still three things need to be promised before giving a commitment to each other, first, no matter what had been our pasts, we should promise to be loyal to each other from now on. Second, it's time to delete these apps and third, we need to trust each other and no matter what happens we will always be friends. I agreed and all these promises were made, First time in my life, I was seriously considering these promises. Otherwise i never paid attention to love, loyalty etc. before. I told you, I was doing everything slightly different than usual.

 For next one week, life seemed quite peaceful, we used to spend our most of the time talking or chatting to each other, sharing stories, making plans and he even solved my problem. We were like best friends who briefed their whole life to each other in one week only, I got to know how many pets he had, what were his childhood stories, how he got that scar on the nose or why he left playing cricket ? He now knew that i fell when i was younger, I had injuries, I even burnt maggi when i first made it. Doesn't our life feels complete, no, not exactly then came an uninvited twist, I had to leave my hometown to study in a boarding school, and before i could understand and figure out a solution, my admission, packings and my travel even was scheduled. We had only two days left and then contact vanish, since hostel didn't allow mobile phone facilities. I cried so much not because i was leaving home or something but because of those promises i made, I felt as if i am being a traitor and doing injustice with him. I had massive arguments with my parents, I tried to do everything possible, I even broke my new phone due to my anger. Mom - dad just couldn't understand why i was doing this since i was the one who wanted to go to a hostel. But nothing worked and the rest two days also went by in making him understand why this is happening. We listened to our favourite songs together, watched a web series on call and spent all day together on my last day. He was also very upset and didn't want me to go. We even tried to convince mom for a PG but it didn't work. Now only a few hours were left, i was scheduled to leave early in the morning, I said to him that I don't want to make him feel like he is bound or something. So if he doesn't want to continue then I don't have any problem with it, even when i am gone if he finds another suitor and wants to ditch this, I won't say a word, I gave him much more space than i wanted to, only on one condition that if he decides to leave he needs to inform me once. After listening to all this, he murmured in his sobbing upset voice," I love you !" That was the first time he said it and obviously i replied," I love you too !" He added," Take care of yourself and don't say these things, it won't happen, I have promised you something and i never break my promises. But same thing goes for you too, if you want to move on, just inform me once !" We remained silent for a while and then I had to rush to get the last packings done. I slept immediately after finishing so I could not talk to him and in the morning, I called him several times but this fool was sleeping all his sleep that day. When we had already spanned halfway, he replied with a text message," GOOD MORNING !" I wrote," Wow, very early you woke up, sleep a little more !" He replied," Actually mom said don't disturb my daughter in law, let her sleep so I couldn't call you !" 😇 At least I smiled because of this one. We talked for a bit before I joined hostel and gave my phone to the warden to keep it. And then I was helpless, alone and upset about how are we going to work this out. Want to know that what happened next, sorry as this post is quite late than what i said. But from now on, these will be on time.
